Information shared in therapy is treated confidentially. Information is not shared with others without your permission, unless there is a legal obligation or an exceptional situation involving serious and immediate risk of harm.

In some situations, limited personal data may be processed by service providers used for email, website hosting, administration, payment records, or secure storage. Where relevant, these providers are expected to handle data securely.

Retention of data

Personal data is not kept longer than necessary.

Client dossiers are kept according to the legal retention periods that apply to healthcare records, generally at least 20 years from the last change to the dossier, unless an exception applies.

Administrative records, such as invoices, are kept according to applicable administrative and tax obligations.

Messages from people who do not become clients are kept only as long as necessary to respond and manage the inquiry.

Your privacy rights

You may request access to your personal data. You may also ask for correction, restriction, deletion, or transfer of your data, where this is possible under the applicable law.

Some requests may not be fully possible when there is a legal or professional duty to keep certain records.
